Role Summary

We are looking for an experienced Car AC Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain air conditioning systems in passenger vehicles. This role requires strong hands-on technical expertise in automotive air conditioning systems, along with basic communication skills to ensure quality service and operational standards.

The ideal candidate should have solid experience working as a car AC technician and be capable of identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving AC-related issues efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle air conditioning system issues.
2. Perform repair, maintenance, and servicing of car AC systems.
3. Inspect and replace AC components such as compressors, condensers, evaporators, cooling fans, blowers, and refrigerant lines.
4. Conduct refrigerant gas charging, leak detection, and AC performance testing.
5. Identify issues related to AC cooling efficiency, electrical systems, and climate control functions.
6. Accurately document service findings and completed repair work.
7. Ensure compliance with company quality standards and service procedures.
8. Coordinate with workshop and operations teams when required.

Eligibility Criteria

1. 4–6 years of hands-on experience as a Car AC Technician.
2. ITI or Diploma qualification (mandatory) in Automobile / Mechanical / Refrigeration & Air Conditioning.
3. Strong technical knowledge of automotive air conditioning systems and vehicle electrical components.
4. Experience working on passenger cars is preferred.

Mandatory Requirements

1. Valid driving license with good four-wheeler driving skills.
2. Ability to read and understand basic English.
3. Knowledge of AC diagnostics, refrigerant handling, and leak detection procedures.
4. Willingness to work in a workshop-based operational role.

Experience Not Considered

1. Service Advisor or non-technical roles.
2. Experience limited to commercial vehicles (trucks, buses, heavy vehicles).
3. Plant / manufacturing / assembly line experience without vehicle service exposure.
4. Residential, commercial, or industrial HVAC technicians without automotive AC experience.
